HMM-2009, NIST, Gaithersburg, MD

Online registration * is open now through Tuesday, May 5, 2009. The online registration service is provided by Energetics, Inc. *.

The registration fee for HMM-2009 is $575.

IMPORTANT: There will be no on-site registration available. Due to the security restrictions on entering the NIST campus, all registration must be completed in advance through the online registration service during the registration period.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR INTERNATIONAL REGISTRANTS

Please be sure to complete and submit Form NIST 1260 as part of your registration *. This will avoid delays in being permitted to enter the NIST campus.

To attend HMM-2009, you must first enter the United States, and requirements for that have recently changed.

All nationals and citizens of Visa Waiver Program (VWP) countries * who plan to travel to the U.S. for temporary business or pleasure for 90 days or less are required by law to obtain travel authorization prior to initiating travel to the United States. This authorization can be obtained online through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) *, a free Internet application administered by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security *.

Travelers from countries not in the VWP are still required to obtain a Visa upon entry into the United States. Registrants who require a letter of invitation as part of the visa application process should request one in an email message to hmm2009announce@gmail.com.
